Overview
The user's mission is to save Siham from the forced marriage. Although there are multiple different endings to the experience, players eventually realize that there is no happy ending to this story. This mirrors the reality that there are few escape routes for the over 40,000 child brides in Morocco to avoid their imposed marriages.

This project is a web-based story that unfolds based on the decisions made by the users. 1/40'000 is the fictional story of Siham's older sister, who learns that her parents have decided to marry her off to a cousin. She wakes from her stupor to find herself on the day before she learned the news - time seems to be repeating itself giving her an opportunity to change her sister's fate.
